The Annual Conference of the Rues principales Foundation is a truly exceptional platform for discussion. Its guest speakers, from various organizations, share their professional experience and generate stimulating discussions, to the benefit of all participants. The theme chosen for each conference is always central to the concerns and preoccupations of the local people, interested in the problems of sustainable and concerted development.
THEME: Landscape your transportation!
The Rues principales Foundation invites you to attend its 23rd Annual Conference, with the theme of "Landscape your transportation". The day’s discussions and talks will enhance awareness among the stakeholders involved in the revitalization of an area, and the entire population, of the benefits of a more restrained use of vehicles in town centres and, in our sites and planning of future development, of leaving more and more space for alternative modes of transportation and for pedestrians and cyclists.
The Rues principales Foundation aims to bring to the fore some conclusive experiences in public transport, the different transportation options and means of sharing space among users, and to show that these changes can be made in all our communities, from small villages to large cities.
During the evening banquet, several municipalities will be presented with the prestigious awards of excellence and achievement, offered by the Rues principales Foundation and its partners.
